Take reasonable measures to prevent and reduce damage, notify the insurer, and keep documents.

No later than three working days from the moment the policyholder became aware of the insured event.

 

How long does payment take?

If the event is recognised as insured, payment is made within 30 days after receiving the application and the necessary documents.

 

Who determines the amount of damage?

The insurer or an independent expert on the basis of documents and investigation materials.

 

Can a policy be taken out for only one trip?

Yes. The law provides for concluding a contract both for a specific trip and for all transportation of dangerous goods during a certain period.
