Medical expenses insurance when traveling abroad

This type of insurance covers expenses incurred during the Insured Person's stay in the territory of a foreign state, in connection with the need to receive medical assistance, carry out repatriation, and receive other medical services, including transportation.

We guarantee the organization and payment of medical assistance 24 hours a day in any country of the world, in case of sudden illness or accident during a trip abroad.

Accident – a sudden, short-term, unforeseen external impact on the Insured Person's body, resulting in injury and/or other health disorder or death, excluding illnesses (diseases).
Sudden Illness – a sudden, unexpected health disorder of the Insured Person that begins during the insurance period, requires emergency medical intervention, and is not a consequence of a chronic illness and/or an illness that existed before the start of the insurance period, regardless of whether treatment was received for it or not.

To receive emergency medical and other assistance, you must contact the 24-hour Service Company "LOGO BALT ASSISTANCE" by the phone numbers specified in the insurance policy or via SMS.

Insured Persons

Persons who have purchased an insurance policy from SC "ARSENAL-KYRGYZSTAN" JSC may be insured. Insurance for this type is provided for the occurrence of an insured event, namely:

the incurrence of medical expenses caused by the Insured Person's sudden illness, accident, and other expenses (transport, communication, body repatriation), including for the transportation of an accompanying person, the Insured Person, and his minor children;

disability of the Insured Person as a result of an accident (for children – the "disabled child" category) or death of the Insured Person as a result of an accident;

destruction, damage, or loss of luggage belonging to the Insured Person and specified in the insurance contract (policy) and/or registered and checked in with the carrier (hereinafter – "Loss of or Damage to Luggage");

expenses that the Insured Person has incurred or had to incur for compensation of harm caused to the life, health, and/or property of third parties.

SUM INSURED

The sum insured is established separately for each insurance risk (unless otherwise provided by the insurance contract). The total amount of insurance payments for one or more insured events cannot exceed the sum insured established for a specific insurance risk.

INSURANCE RATE

The insurance rate for a specific insurance contract is determined by agreement between the Policyholder and the Insurer by multiplying the base tariff rate in effect at the time of concluding the insurance contract by the risk coefficient, calculated by multiplying increasing or decreasing coefficients, based on circumstances material to determining the degree of insurance risk (age of the Insured Person, territory of insurance coverage, purpose of the trip (sports, active leisure, business trip, temporary work, etc.)), considering the insurance term and the included insurance risks. Payment of the insurance premium is made in a lump sum, unless otherwise provided by the insurance contract.

PROCEDURE FOR RECEIVING MEDICAL ASSISTANCE DURING A TRIP

If during your trip you require medical assistance due to a sudden illness or accident, you must:

Or contact the clinic at your location directly using the phone numbers specified in the Policy and report:

that you are insured by SC "ARSENAL-KYRGYZSTAN" JSC;

your surname, first name, your Policy number and its validity period;

your location and the phone number where a representative of the Service Company or a doctor from the clinic can immediately contact you;

the essence of your problem and what kind of help you need.

Present the insurance Policy when contacting the medical institution.

DOCUMENTS FOR EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT

If for any reason you paid your medical bills yourself (if bills exceed USD/EUR 200, you must notify the Service Company), to receive reimbursement of incurred expenses in Kyrgyzstan, you must submit the following documents to SC "ARSENAL-KYRGYZSTAN" JSC:

insurance Policy;

an official document (bill/invoice) confirming the provision of medical assistance, containing your details, diagnosis, list of services provided and their cost, information about the person who provided the treatment, address and phone number of the medical institution;

a bill/invoice containing the Service Company's phone number specified in this policy and indicating the cost of telephone calls;

if you purchased any medications during the trip, you must provide to SC "ARSENAL-KYRGYZSTAN" JSC the prescription written by the doctor and the paid receipt from the pharmacy.

If the attending physician did not take money from you but issued or mailed you a bill for a non-cash money transfer, you must submit or mail all bills you have to SC "ARSENAL-KYRGYZSTAN" JSC. Upon receipt of the bill, representatives of SC "ARSENAL-KYRGYZSTAN" JSC will contact the medical institution or the doctor who treated you and pay this bill accordingly.
